Four stroke motor mount

Hello,I just bought a C25 and would like to put mynew Yamaha 9.9 four stroke on the new boat.I had the motor mounted on my C22 with a Garelick four stroke motor mount but the mounthas to be placed lower and I don't think it ispossible to make the Garelick mount work on theC25.Any thoughts?Thanks,Tim Pinkham

Catalina has (had) them

I replaced the original motor mount with a nice, heavy duty one I purchased from Catalina when I first put a Yamaha 9.9 on my 25 back in 1985. I now have a 2000 model engine, and the mount is still working great! I wouldn't "skimp" here, as the Yamaha is very heavy and has SO much power! (I leave my engine on when trailering, but I tie it up close to the stanchion with rope to lessen the load on the mount... Good luck...Gary
