Does anyone know the volume of the forward water tank underneath the V-Berth? Also, when I fill the tank the water comes through the top board of the berth and soaks my bedding. Is there a viable fix for this issue? Jaye Kilburn

Don't put so much water in the tank.

To find the volumne of the tank, fill it and than pump the water into a bucket and count the bucketfulls.

The water soaking your bedding has to be

getting out of the tank somewhere, so the first thing you need to do is remove everything above the tank and watch while it's being filled to see where the leak is. It may be a leaking fitting...if there's an inspection port in the top of the tank, it may need a new gasket or o-ring. Or there may be a crack in the tank. There's no way to know how to solve the problem till you what's causing it.

Volume of Water Tank

I'd use a stop watch. Measure the time to fill a known size bucket. This gives you the volume per second of the water hose presure you are using. Then use the stopwatch to measure the time to fill the tank. This method can be used each time you fill the tank, just measure the time to fill and you will know how much water you used.
