forward hatch replacement 1980 27ft hunter

I HAVE A 1980 hunter 27 and the original forward hatch cover gave up the ghostlast fall both arms are broken// i would like to replace it this spring with anextruded alum. with lexan cover// does any one know where one can purchase one and the size// any help much appreciated//tom

j cherubi jr just recently posted he would make a mold if someone had a good cover, i had a 30 and lost my cover and had to replace with a bomar trapezoidal hatch, alot of grinding and filling.good luckmike

I had the same problem in my 79 27ft. I ordered a trapezoidal cover through West Marine from Bomar. It has the same dimensions as the original. I have not put it on yet. Just waiting for the snow and ice to thaw out. The easy part was getting it. However, it took about two months to get it.
