I am desparately seeking a forward hatch cover for my O'Day 20. The previous owner had one made of wood that didn't last. I have tried D+R and Stuart Marine with no luck. I even tried a Hatch cover from a 19.5 Mariner but it was about an inch short. I can make another wooden one but would rather find one more original. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Your next step would be to try tracking one down at boat salvage yards. If you have no luck there, you could make one out of fiberglass. It isn't real easy to fabricate a curved suface but can be done by taking your time and planning it out. If you need help on how to do it, just let me know. wrasse@comcast.net Good Luck
