In the process of opening the Bomar forward hatch on my '89 Cat 25 the white plexiglass detached from the frame. It appears that there is a rubber gasket below the plexiglass that only serves to act as a cushion. In the area between the glass and the metal frame is a white substance that acts as a calk and or adhesive.
Does anyone have any idea what that material is? Should I replace it with 4200, 5200 or what? Thanks for your help.
