Forward-facing port lites

It would be nice to look forward while below in the cabin (ducking the
weather). Some boats, like the Pearson Triton, have a pair of small
oval port lites on either side of the cabin house, facing forward. Has
anyone with a Vega added these?

I have thought the same. Just purchased vega #1493, on the hard
getting ready for spring. I have 4 portlights from an old islander
that went to sailboat heaven I may be putting in "facing forward". I
am thinking of 2 in the cabin, facing forward, and one in the VBerth,
facing forward.

By the way, is there a vega association in the SF Bay area? How about
a vega rendevous in the Bay area this summer? I know there are quite a
few of them around here.
