Rick,If you're referring to the so called "dry" compartment, I have the same problem. I found the source of the water by running a hose on the foredeck. On my boat, water was leaking in through the aft stanchion bases of the pulpit, running down the inside bulkheads of the V-berth, under the cushions, and into the compartment. Rebedding the pulpit stanchions solved the problem. Hope this helps! Chuck K.12418

Rick:I had the same problem but my water was coming in around the windows, ran foreward along the side shelf, down behind the front dinette bulkhead to the V birth platform to the compartment. I've had this problem for 2 years and could not seem to find the problem untill 2 weeks ago when I thoroughly cleaned the interior. I removed everything that wasn't bolted, screwed or glued down to clean all of the interior surfaces. When I cleaned the shelf on top of the side bulkhead the water ran right down into that front compartment that I had pumped out, cleaned and dried not 15 minutes before.Barry Broyles C22 # 1909 "Brighteyes"
