Folks,

Is it me or is there is no longer a feature to search by boat model? It's a field prompt when posting a new thread but is not a field prompt in any of the search features I can find. If I simply insert H34 or Hunter 34 in the general or advanced search feature it's all over the map and a crap shoot to get posts by model number. This appears so obvious so I'm assuming it's just me and I can not find the feature to search by model. Anyone know how to search by the the Boat Model field filled out in all new posts?

First, make sure you're on HunterOwners.com and not SailboatOwners.com.

Click the Search tab and you should see a drop down menu to the left that has a list of models. Your keyword search will search only within that model, if one is selected.

I still see the same problem. I just did two searches for "propane locker"(without the quotes). First I used model H33(78-83) and received 100 hits. I looked at a few and found nothing about an H33. The first entry was for a Yamaha 33(nice boat by the way).

Then I did the same search except changed the model to "37-cutter". I got exactly the same hits in the same order. And this was starting from here: http://hunter.sailboatowners.com/index.php?option=com_vbsearch&Itemid=254

Good catch Ed. The model filter was working with the and/or searches but not exact phrase. That's now fixed.
