Ok, here's a question I've had for a while and just never asked. First off, I'm out with my daughter the other day in our H22 in about 15 mph wind, and she's loving it. Is there anything better than that! Heeling at about 30 degrees, ( I know, not the most efficient but a heck of a lot of fun.) and she's having the time of her life. Have to love when the new first mate is you daughter. Anyway, I'm looking at the jib, not sure what kind of furler it is, the name wore off years ago, but I know the forstay is in the furler; and the luff seems like it's pretty soft. How would you tighten the forestay or would I have to have a new one installed? Or, when sailing close hauled or on a reach, does the luff of the jib seem to sag a bit with a furling jib? I'm not sure I'm asking this correctly, but it seems like the luff should be pretty much straight up and down the centerline of the boat, and mine has a slight curve in it and has moved over the leeward when we are underway.
