Sunbird, here is a pic of the sheet Rudy sent me. Pardon my handwritten notes, but after messing up the lines the first time, I wanted to make sure I had everything labeled correctly. I will also post up a pic of the completed CB rigging, which was done in accordance with the picture you posted earlier, and the rigging instructions which Rudy sent me as well.

CB rigging finished

Here is the picture of the CB fully rigged, per the rigging diagram. When I got the boat three years ago, it was rigged differently (the line from the top hole, the down line, was threaded throw the stainless fairlead on the side of the trunk).

I had the opportunity to take the Widgeon out for a test sail this past week.
The CB worked flawlessly. The only issue I had was a small amount of leakage around the CB bolt. I have since caulked around the rubber washer and bolt hole with some silicone sealant, which I hope will take care of the problem.

THANKS!

Thanks for the dwg and picture, I had been meaning to try to find someone with a Widgeon that would let me take a photo like that for my Manual, and you did it great! I'll also add the drawing from Rudy. Thanks again!!

Widgeon Centerboard

Yes, thanks for the pictures. My rigging for the centerboard is different
though. I have the one hole shown that is the bottom one, but my top hole
is not near the front at all, but about 18" back along the top. Any ideas?
I'll try and call Rudy and see what I can find out about this version of the rigging.

Widgeon CB ropes

Mel, I still think the rope exiting the very top of the trunk has to be the "down" rope, and the one going through the front of the trunk to the block has to be the "up" rope. If you look at the picture I posted of the single page sheet Rudy sent me, you should be able to see that the ropes will cross inside the trunk. I would just look very carefully as I lift the CB out of the trunk, to make sure that this is the case. A digital camera to record the paths of the ropes might not be a bad idea, either.

If I can be of any more help, please let me know!

Thanks

Thanks - I think you are right about the hole in the top being the "down rope".
