Dave... You been reading the story of the Donner Party again? I know that the Appliacian hills are starting to get their fall chill and stocking up for the winter becomes a active necessity, but Kermie sounds to me like he may be more bone than meat, a bit gamy flavored, and perhaps a bit pickled (one to many sundonwers).

@Kermit has been promising to attend one or two of the last drinking establishments that we are allowed into on the wet coast. We're gettin a powerful thirst going on while we wait.

A bird-banding friend of mine banded a Baltimore oriole here in Sumter, SC that was recovered in B.C. He plans to band more in January. I’ll see if I can hitch a ride with one.
