Bill,Our 1990 Hunter H-33.5 has an ST-50 Knotmeter and Depth meter.The knotmeter thru-hull does not have the 'check valve' flapper in it. Is it possible to upgrade the thru-hull and use the existing sensor (paddlewheel)? If so, does it mean changing the whole thru-hull? What is involved?Dick CareyS/V Puffin

Must Change it All

You can change from the Z092 (no flapper) to a Z092P (flapper), but you must change the housing and the insert. Basically, you need to replace the entire Through Hull.
