Here's a posting actually *praising* a company for their customer service. My father and I have been working to add remote controls for his Tohastu o/b on his H26. We couldn't get any real info from the local Tohatsu dealers because the boat is in big-time fishing country. An 8hp sailboat kicker was the last thing any of them wanted to handle. In fact one basically laughed at us in their showroom. So, I emailed Tohatsu customer service several months back, asking for a better dealer reference and any information they had on the parts and install. In short, Tohatsu has been FANTASTIC. Something that is really rare these days, IMHO. My contact there has replied to numerous emails, queries about part numbers, list prices, etc. I just received some final information from him today that should help finalize our "do-it-yourself" install. All this for a very small parts order. Just thought I would share a good experience.

Nice to hear...

Thank you for sharing. Having a 5hp Nissan and an 18hp Tohatsu myself, I am glad that the company is easy to work with. Now, if they could just get some of their local dealers to stock small parts...
