This info may be of help to some: The sheave on one of the jib-sheet foot blocks on my '85 Hunter 31 cracked and started to fall apart. I called Hunter to see if I could find new blocks (or replacement sheaves). They told me they were made by Merriman, who went out of business years ago. Several phone calls later and a few visits to the HOW archives proved them wrong. The blocks are made by Lewmar, and are still available, and much less expensive than I expected.
