Folex cleaner, great stuff

I recently purchased an O 240. The cabin area has a full fabric headliner. A few sections had brown stains due to minor water leakage. I used a carpet cleaner product called Folex. I purchased it from Home Depot. It worked great, easily removed the stains.

I also use it on our micro fiber furniture with great results.

Hey I just bought a 240 over the winter moving up from a Catalina 22. I had decent results with clorox clean up and a portable carpet cleaner on the headliner but will try out the folex as well. If you want to talk at further length about the boat shoot me a message. One upgrade ive done is move the outboard to the port side on a bracket and the swim ladder over to the starboard side basically making a swim platform and love it!

THANKS for posting and sharing this --- On our 28, we had a small leak around one of the tinted plexi windows, and the curtains had a BROWN water stain that was IMPOSSIBLE to remove- chemically, or by brute force --
Bought some Folex at HD for less than $6 --- AMAZING results, with virtually NO effort-
