Hunter Passage 42 St Andrews Scotland
Hello everyone. I have just joined so, I am just dipping my toe in the water for a start. Last July I bought a Hunter passage 42 named flying Legend which I have renamed Casper. If any of you are UK Hunter owners, have you seen Flying Legend about and perhaps photoed her under sail or in fact Casper when I sailed her to St Andrews in Scotland last July? I would like to see a or some pictures of my new pride and joy under sail. If not, does anyone have any action pictures of a Passage 42 under sail. I will now attempt to post some picyures of Casper for anyone interested in the Passage 42.

Regards to all, Bill

Ps. Note sure if I did the pictures correctly

Thank you for the welcome. I have sailed extensively on the west coast of Scotland and when it is not raining, I believe it to be the best sailing are of beauty in Europe. I love whisky especially Glen Fidoch and I will this year or next do the whisky trail sail beginning at Oban. Keep in touch, I might have a berth. Bill

And a good family name it is. Do u like the Passage 42 and, would u not be proud if it was your sail boat? Regards Bill
That model on my opinion was the best Hunter ever made, All the owners I've known rave about how well it sails, and how comfortable and roomy it is below.

I did not think of that harbour. Been down there lots of times. I am not used to drying out harbours and did not think you could have 42 feet a yacht there, but obviously it is no problem. :). Gratulations to you with your 42. I and my family are omming to StAndrews in october.

I bought my 42 last July in Weymouth England and sailed her to St Andrews in Scotland. In 12/14 knots of wind she was reaching at 7:5knots and sailed like a dream. I am most proud. Thanks for your comments. Bill

I am at present working 6 weeks on 6 off in the Persian Gulf but may well be home when you visit St Andrews. Get in touch with me closer to the time and we can visit Casper for a coffee or dram! Would look forward to that. Bill

Welcome

Lovely looking boat, congratulations and fair winds.
We'll maybe see you on the west coast sometime this summer, we're usually not too far from a distillery.

Hello. I would hope you would see me on the west coast of Scotland with 6 weeks off at a time. Notice there are a couple of hunters at Anstruther about 35/36ft. Your Hunter looks lovely. See you sometime. Bill S
