How much hp does it take to plane your dinghy? Does anyone have a 8' fiberglass Livingston? What hp are you using and hows it go. (Livingstons are those twin hull tubs that look like, like, well a tub)
I've got an 8'apex rib with an older 15hp 2stroke and it will run 31mph with just me but my dream dink is a 10'rib with a 25hp 2 stroke. When I'm commuting daily from the hook, going fishing, snorkeling, surfing, ect I want a suv of a dink. I'd lone to carry a classic rowing/sailing rig too but....
