Flushing the Yanmar cooling systemI

I am in the process of repairing the cooling system on my Yanmar 2GM20F including thermostat replacement, raw water pump impeller replacement, replacement of hoses, clean-up of the heat exchanger and mixing elbow. Does anyone have any suggestions for thoroughly flushing the "freshwater/coolant" side of the system?

David: There is a product called Marsolve that is suppose to help clean up the heat exchanger. Try this site and see what you think. http://www.marsolve.com/ You should be able to flush both sides of the system with this stuff.
