Flotilla to Northeast Rendezvous

I just received in the mail the formal invitation to the Northeast Hunter Rendezvous at Mystic Shipyard the first week of August. One way or another, my H-270 and I are definitely going. However, as a coastal cruiser of the relatively protected waters of Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island, I'm a little apprehensive about sailing there with just my 270 especially in waters I've not sailed through before. So I'm wondering if there might be some other like-minded coastal Hunter sailors interested in sailing as a flotilla down to Mystic. My idea would be to meet up at least as far as Newport, RI on August 1, 2001, then sail to Mystic the morning of August 2. Any interest folks?Richard Gottliebs/v Escape VelocityP.S. Not too far...if the weather is good

If it's blowing pretty good it will be a little "lumpy" heading west to Mystic from Newport. We will probably be heading there from Newport ourselves for the rendezvous. Haven't finalized our summer cruise plans yet, but it's a good guess at this point that we will be heading to Mystic from Naragansett Bay.
