Florida/Miami

Hi All

I am thinking of bringing the wife and two boys (5 & 8) to Florida
(Dinseyland) for two weeks holiday sometime this year. The kids and wife
will love Disneyland but I hate that kind of thing. Would there be any
chance of seeing and perhaps sailing some Vegas whilst I am there. My
friend has a place there so fixed up with somewhere to stay. Any thoughts,
ideas would be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Hello Stephen;
I'll be more than happy to go out with you on my Vega. Though I have to give
you some info when I'm not able to sail, because a. I plan to take the
boat out
for a bottom job (and at the same time plan repaint the boat), and b. I
have
to go to the hospital for surgery that will knock me out for- I guess-
about 3 or
4 weeks.
The problem is- I don't know yet when I have to be in the hospital. I'm
going to
ask the surgeon to delay the operation until after I worked on my boat
(I rather
work now as long I'm still doing okay- hospitals are here to get you sick!).
Here is the "may-be" time table:
Work on my boat February, operation early March- hopefully ready to go
sailing
again late March early April.
So the next question: When will you be here?
By the way- you're not missing a thing by not going to Disneyland.:)

Steve,

Don't be what my kids, when they were your kids age, or maybe a bit younger, would call a poop head. You will love Disneyland. I don't like much besides sailboats, women, old cars and airplanes, but I liked Disneyland.

Mort- to me Disneyland is like "chill-index", "heat-index", and lately a
new one, "stiki-bar" or something
like that, and they all are silly- mildly said!

HIJim
Just fired up your old engine and seems to run fine.
Almost 3months in yard bottom work, furling jib installed and repower,
it will feel good to be back in water again perhaps by Monday.
Any tips you can give me will be apreciated.
Best regards,
