I recently sold my H-26 and am in withdrawl. I am planning a trip to Florida later in the year and thought it would be fun to charter a H-26 or something similar, for a couple of days. Can anyone suggest a place to charter? Boatless in Seattle

charter

we recently took a sailing course in marathon with us sailing They can be located on the internet They also have boats for charter and I believe one was a hunter I think it was a 32 the other was a catalina We learned on J24's which they also probalbly would charter The instructor and owner,s name is Bruce and he can easiily be reached as he has his cell phone on all the time I would recommend checking this out If you fly there dont do what we did We flew into Ft Lauderdale But we found out that Marathon has a small airport that you can make connections with I am sure you will have a great time there as it is less crowded than Key west good luck let me know if you have any other questions or problems my email is devils@pol.net

Cottage comes with a boat

My wife & I just got back from our honeymoon (after 25 years) in the Keys. We rented a cottage from Best of Both Worlds in Islamorada, which came with a Compac 19. The boat is showing its age & there were a couple maintenance issues, but she's seaworthy for Florida Bay. We had a great time. Found their add, as well as a couple others for similar deals in the back of Sail Mag. Again, we had a great time, best trip of our lives. Rob Kinship Kent, OH
