Jerry, you should check the cockpit drain and the centerboard pendant tube. The cockpit drain is usually some vinyl tubing between the cockpit sole and the transom, and is (barely) accessible through the lazarette.
The centerboard pendant feeds up from the back of the keel behind the companionway step, and up to the cockpit sole behind the bridge deck. It has a bit of rubber tubing between the bent aluminum pipe.
Make sure these two penetrations are in good shape.

Hi; I am new to this forum. I bought an O'Day 192 im Jan/14 to use as a day sailor. Today I opened the cabin & found the bilge full of water. I am asking if there is supposed to be a passage way between the cabin bilge & the hull drain that might be clogged. Thanks in advance for your help.
