I don't have a windless so I ordered a Rewht White anchor puller model # 15932213 at WM on sale for $12 to help save my back when it's heave-ho time. It didn't come with a buoy so my question is, anybody have any idea what size ball buoy is needed to float a 35 lb. anchor?

Patrick:

What do you plan to do with that "puller"?
If you're looking to loosen and anchor that has been "hooked" under an obstruction or rock, it's one thing.
If you're looking to retrieve and anchor to the surface, how is that going to do the job with a "ball"?

What process do you use to "dislodge" the anchor from the sand/mud? Are you looking to bring the anchor to the surface with an inflatable something?

Water weighs ~ 64 pounds per cubic foot. You will need to consider the weight of the anchor and the chain. Once you know that just do the math.
