Good evening all,

im looking for a replacement fresh water tank that will fit in a spac that has two 1 1/2 inlet/outlet and fits in a 18 by 28 with. 18 inch height. I think the original was 13 gallons.

I can not seem to find the right dimension.

Thanks in advance.

You will probably not find an exact replacement. Ronco makes rotomolded tanks for a large variety of manufacturers. Unless the space is oddly conformed you will likely find something that will fit. These are not flexible tanks.

Depending on the location on your boat, it may require some surgery to install or remove the tank.

Would a flexible tank fit? I'm curious about the need for 2 large diamter ports. Usually it's a 1.5" input and small diameter output, and small diameter air vent. A flexible tank doesn't need an air vent because the bladder can flex in and out.

Ronco Plastics makes top quality water and waste tanks TOP quality thick-walled (50% thicker than most other mfrs) water and waste tanks for a very reasonable price and have more than 400 shapes and sizes,
over 100 of which are non-rectangular, and they install fittings--including diptubes--in the sizes and locations specified by the customer when they make the tank. You'll find their catalogs here Ronco Plastics marine Tanks Ronco Plastics tank drawings When looking at drawings it's important to know that there is no top or bottom until the fittings go in, and YOU decide where they go. So rotate, flip in any orientation to find the tank that fits your space.

That's only true for WATER tanks. USCG regs require that all waste and fuel tanks--including bladders--be vented to the outside of the boat.

(Yes I know we're talking about a water tank here , but thought that worth mentioning for future reference.)

I jut ran the dimensions of your space... it should easily hold a 25-30 gal tank. The "kicker" may be the shape of the space. Be sure to check the dimensions of your companion way hatch to make sure you can get it into the boat!

Good catch. Yes, we wouldn’t want excess pressure building in those :poop: tanks. As the saying goes “it’s got to go somewhere!“. :yikes:

Good morning all,

Thank you for all of the feed back.

This is for drinking, bathing water. It needs to be a flexible bladder to fit in the confined space. I think the original was a vetus brand. The kicker is that this came with two 1 1/2 connections

I put one of those in an odd shaped compartment last year. The flexible tank conformed to the odd shape nicely. Mine was 25 gallons and had a 1-1/2" filler and a 1/2" outlet. If you cannot find an exact match to your original at least try to find one that the length is close to your compartment length. Address any sharp protrusions and fit the tank so that it does not slide around.
