Now that the North Sails catalog is defunct, does anyone know where I can get any good Fleece sailing jackets, preferably embroidered with a sailing gear mfg.'s logo? It's that gift giving timeof year again and.... Please advise! Thanks

A good company for cold weather ware
My favorite place to get cold weather clothes (it is reported that Mark Twain once said that the worst winter he spent was a summer in the Pacific Northwest) is a company called Patagonia. Their web site is www.patagonia.com Their capilene underwear is the best and their socks are outstanding. I haven't found warmer socks from anywhere else. They also have a large selection of windproof fleece that you may like. I've heard that they have the capabilities of putting logos on items, but I've never followed up on this tack. Kurt, I have a fleece I bought from LL Bean several years that is great. If I remeber right I bought it from their canoeing catalog. It has kept me warm. Also Gill makes a great sweater I wear a lot that is terrific. Charlie Gruetzner Angels' Grace
