What diameter flax do you repack the standard stuffing box with 1" prop shaft on the 33.5. The info I received with my "pre-owned" boat did not include that info. I think it's 3/16" but am not sure. thanks
Not sure why a 33.5 owner has not popped up here. I know that most 1" shafts take 3/16" packing. But my own H37C has a 1" shaft and I use 1/4" packing. Last season I installed the "dripless" packing. It's a green putty with teflon that you pack between two rings of regular packing. You can adjust it for NO drip. Got it at West Marine. Best to call Hunter.
