Does anyone know which of the newer Catalina models are built in Florida? Thanks!

Big ones in Largo

Phil: I was in the Largo (old Morgan factory the Catalina purchased a few years ago) factory in January 2001 to see my new 310 come off the assembly line. At that time, they produced the Morgan line (big 30s and 40s) the Catalina 38 through 40 something and the 310. The 310 actually started production in Woodland Hills but was moved to Largo towards the end of the first production year. I don't believe the 34 or 36 are produced in Largo and I have no idea where the new 350 and 387 are produced.

Nonskid Deck Tells All

If you've ever noticed Catalina uses two styles of nonskid. Diamond pattern (used for years) or the finish that looks like sand in the gel coat (new finish). Diamond pattern comes from California, sand pattern from Florida. So based on the nonskid you can determine which plant it came from. Example: C28 and C380 sand finsh (Florida) C34 and C36 diamnod finish (California. That's my story and I'm stickin to it!
