Well, what do YOU think? I singlehanded from St Pete, FL to the Bahamas last spring and she performed well enough. A route to Panama would involve a few legs of 3 day passages.
The 30 and 20 gallon water and fuel tankages are a bit small, but I can work with jerry cans.
The keel issue will come up, but mine was fiber glassed and faired around the joint, hopefully reinforcing it significantly.
Is she too 'light' for this trip? Bocas del Toro is calling to me.
