Hi all,
We've been battling leaks on our Old Standard Lewmar ports. I was thinking that it was perhaps worn gaskets -- which lead to the discovery that the only company making the older gaskets is Eagle Boat Windows in the UK.
As I was perusing their site I found that they have a number of good write ups around repairing and maintaining Lewmar ports. One of the articles mentioned cleaning and re-sealing the frame joints.
We gave this a shot this weekend, and for the first time in the 3 seasons we've owned our boat we had a soaking rain and no port leaks!
In case this is beneficial for anyone searching for similar fixes the article referenced is here:

After getting these resealed we had a nice (albeit cold -- Lake Superior waters still haven't warmed up) shakedown cruise. The 2024 sailing season on the Great Lakes has commenced!
