Fixed the table also!!!!

Finally got around to fixing the table. Cut It down to size and made the support and the filler so it makes a proper bead. The support wings folds up so it can be stored easily.

How did you go about removing the fiberglass cone underneath? What thickness plywood did you use and is it stiff enough without some support underneath? Fair winds, Tom

Jig saw

Tom just used the good old jig saw. First pulled out the little wood screws and pried loose the cone. Clamped the table up out of the way and let the fiberglass fly :) The support thing was made of 3/4 birch. Have epoxied the wood for water proofing. The filler board for the bed is 3/4 common plywood.

I am wondering why

did you redo the table? We just leave the table turned around so we have more cabin space & use the Vberth for duffle bag storage. It looks like a nice job. kevin
