Fixed Skylight Leaks

Having carefully followed the archive suggestions - I can confirm that Dow 995, when properly applied, does do a great job sealing the edges of fixed skylights against leaks. However I have yet to find an effective way of sealing around the heads of the skylight holding screws and some water still comes in at this point. The hard joint between the underside of the screw head and the plexy glass will never seal anything. Because the screw heads are recessed, I can not find any suitably shaped washers or seals. These would need to be a truncated cone shape to seal this space. Any solutions out there?

Use the same Dow 995 to fill the screw holes. Then wipe the top of the filled hole clean with your finger and some liquid soap just like smoothing the outer surface of the skylight.
