Well I just came back off a little cruise and after 10 years my Wilcox Crittenden Headmate sprung a leak in the back of the pump. Looks like a screw hole but I have not taken it apart yet so I am not sure if it is fixable. It has worked great all these years with no maintenance to speak of so I am about due. At any rate it is probably time for a complete maintenance kit with costs $75 plus shipping and possibly might need a new pump which looks like it might be $130+. The price of a new Jabsco at Boaters World is about $150 for the whole toilet and the price of the PHII is $385 + shipping. If I decide to go for a new toilet instead of flailing about trying to repair my 30+ year old toilet, is the $230+ more for the PHII really worth it over the Jabsco? I see the old WC Headmate is discontinued.

I initially looked at Peggy's response on my iphone and did not see the order information. Sorry about that.

Go with the PHC

We just replaced our headmate pump for the PHC, best $200.00 you will spend on the boat. We now use less water than we did with the headmate.

I am curious, did you fix the leak at the screw hole or replace ? I have the same problem and don't know where to start. I am not sure what part, what gasket or what rebuild kit. If you, or anyone, know where I can find an answer to this specific leak problem it would help. Maybe even a link to a site, or a schematic to analyze problem would help also.
