Fischer Panda Gen 6kw

We are on a Hunter 410 with a FP 6kw generator on board. We cranked it over and started right up. About 5 min it shut down and threw a T-Engine light. I scoured the manual for troubleshooting and found nothing. I am “assuming” it is the temp light but does anyone know what may cause this?

Had another incident a few years ago where the Genset would start but shut down due to no sea water flow. Replaced the sea water impeller as it was missing a vane and would not prime. Would start but not run with the new impeller. Turned out it was the wrong impeller for our engine. Replaced with an OEM and it has run fine ever since.

We had a faulty temp sensor that would shut down our Mastervolt generator. Replaced it, and all is well.

That is a thermal winding over heat code. Attached is the manual. We will get that code every now and then when we are running too high a load.

Also, keep an eye on the sight glass on the oil cooled bearing. If you start to see clear oil under the sound shield you are likely leaking oil. Ours started leaking oil at about 300 hrs and required a new bearing and seal. Still solid 1100 hrs later. On our 41 you need an inspection mirror and flashlight to see the sight glass. Not sure it that is true on the 410.

There was another guy on here, years back, who had a friend that had the bearing fail and it totaled the gen set.
