Fischer Panda Diesel Leak

I have a diesel leak coming from below my Generator. I can sea the trail of diesel on the floor under the box. It is not coming from the fuel lines but further back, any one got ant ideas wear to look first. Funny thing is that it is very intermittent, there was only a smear in the bilge after 2 weeks and then I come back 2 days later and there is 1/2" in the bilge. I ran the generator about a week ago for 3/4hour. I don't know if it takes that long to work its way down or if it is a constant leak. I don't know if it is a coincident or not but it seems that it occurs worse when the tank is full. It is definitely not coming from the tank or primary fuel filter as I have covered the boat in paper towel looking for any leaks and found nothing, the only smear of diesel I can find is under the generator box that I can see thru a small gap. I will return tomorrow and start removing all the timber work around it and keep looking.

look at the secondary filter located inside the sound proof box. This is the small racor filter with the clear base. There is a oring gasket that might be the culprit or the base has loosened up.

I think I found the leak today it was a little clamp just squeezed on holding the return hose to a pipe on the inside of the cover had rusted through and was leaking. Just touched it and it fell off. Took me about an hour to attach a hose clamp around it and tighten it up but it seems like it's stopped leaking there. I hope that was the only leak. I did check that filter but it was nice tight and secure funny thing it looks like there is actually no filter inside the glass bowl thanks

Check bowl. You need a filter in the bowl. It tends to clog up quite often and needs to be replaced.

Replacing the mini raycor on the FP is a pain. I removed mine, re installed the clear cup, and installed an external 2 micron racor that is accessible. The mini is only 10 microns. You can do better with an external filter. Yes I still have 2 filters in front of the FP.
