Did you ever have a day that, in hind site, you realize was created just for your crew and boat and also have it be on a race day? Saturday was our day. 10-12 MPH winds, not at all too cold, and a course modified by a wind change that suited an Akite boat perfectly. We won the three hour race, boat for boat, by over 20 minutes over our nearest competitor, a J24. Also lagging behind, a Hunter 34, Hunter 33.5, Catalina 27, Capri 25 and a half dozen other big boats. It's so good to be able to sail and race again.
