S2 owners, I am looking for a first boat and the S2s are always highly spoken of. I am a beginner, will keep the boat on its trailer at home, will be single-handing. Lake sailing and possibly Superior and the Apostle islands. The boat will need a low trailer profile, it will need to be easily rigged , launched, and retrieved by one person. Will an S2 work for me? If so, which one? If not, what would.
