All: my new to me F47.7 has factory installed black water supply of lines that have red or blue stripes to denote hot and cold water. The boat had a cold water shower on the transom that failed to meet my Commodore's requirements. The factory was great enough to run a hot water line to the transom but didn't connect either end. The problem is that I can't find plumbing fittings that fit the tubing. I talked to Beneteau who suggested heating the tubing and force in 1/2" fittings. I tried this and managed to melt some tubing with little success.
So the 1/2" is too big to fit and the 3/8" is too small. I will or so it seems.
Any suggestions on what to do?
