Tom, my suggestion would be to get a copy of Brion Toss's The Complete Rigger's Apprentice. It is an excellent reference book and needed for any sailors library. It will give you all the information that you need. I am pretty sure that can be bought in chandlery here on this site. Also the Loos tension guage comes with instructions on tuning your rigging. You just need to get the correct one for for the size of your cable. Good luck charlie
