Well, we are back in the water, and the water is coming in fast! Sitting in the slip, I have a couple weepy keel bolts. Under sail, I am taking on ~ 1-2 gallons per minute. Keel bolts are rusty and the washers are nearly gone. So it's not a matter of "if", it's a matter of what material. So, what do I buy my little princess for her 20th birthday? I see the following possibilities for her replacement bolts: 1. Steel 2. Galvanized steel 3. Monel $$$ Hauling tomorrow... your thoughts please.

Me too!!

I just put my 38 back in the water after hull repairs due to Katrena. My rusty keel bolts were weeping too, but I sealed the leaks with an epoxy stick. I haven't taken it out yet because the mast was also damaged. If you are having an increased problem I assume I will too. I will be very interested in your progress and what you end up doing. Thanks, Jerry
