First 310 water pressure problem

I have a 92 First 310. I have no water pressure. The water tank is full, I have checked the strainers, checked to make sure the valves were open and the pump is making noise like it is trying to pressure the water. Might be a bad pump. If the pump is bad can I replace it with a more powerful pump? When it was running I didn't have much water pressure at the sinks or showers.

break the line from the water tank supply at the pump and see if you have water coming out of the pipe that would be the first thing to check you may have blockage in the line preventing water from coming to the pump

If you have a faucet outlet without an aerator, stick your finger over the end to see if it generates any pressure. If not, you may have a faulty discharge check valve.

On our 1990 boat, before I replaced the pump, I had to open a faucet to get the pump to prime if I completely emptied the water tank.
