What's the preferred finish for a teak shower grate. Our's is presently unfinished teak, and I'm thinking of varnish similar to the cabin sole? Leave it? Cetol? Oil finish? Thanks! Axel
I think varnish is right for teak that will constantly see water. Mine looks like new after twenty-five years. I think it was revarnished once in that time but probably with several coats. But interior varnish does not break down like exterior. There are no UV rays and water really does not affect it.
