I was thinking of either cetoling or polyurithaneing the teak and holly floor of my H26. I was wondering if anyone has done the same and any recomendations on products would be greatly appreciated. Dave Oberholtzer "Hydrotherapy"

Daly's Profin

Hunter uses Daly's Profin on their salon decks. Check West Marine for the product.

No Profin at WM

I looked at the WM catalog (online) and they only carry Daly's SeaFin. SeaFin may not be durable enough for the deck. Look up Daly's Home Improvement Center in Seattle for the Profin. They ship. I've used SeaFin (on Hunter's recommendation) on teak salon cabinets and a teak flagstaff very successfully.

Pro-Fin....good stuff!!!

Dave, I am in the process of refinishing my sole. I got W/M to order the Pro-Fin (hard drying, quick set oil finish) for me. I picked it up at the store. It was 12 bucks for a quart and that is a plenty. Check the archives. There is a step by step by a guy named Grant that I found very helpful. Just take your time. Good luck! H25.5 mayona

Thanks, Bryan

Thanks for the new Daly's URL. They changed it and I could never find it again. I always recommend it, but now have the web site as backup. Even the Yahoo! search engine didn't turn it up.
