Since most of you folks have rebuilt/refinished/refit your boat to varying degrees, I thought you might be interested in seeing my finished project, an 1973 O'Day 22 named Cassidy: www.carrboroyachtclub.blogspot.com It's been a long journey and I'm pleased with the outcome. I've certainly enjoyed getting there! Anyway, I don't want to be an attention hog or anything, just interested in what you folks think. Cheers!

Nice work Josh.

Although there are a lot of Catalina 22's around you chose to rework yous at considerable expense and time. At least you will know your boat inside and out after having gone through this and know how to repair it if necessary. My boat is 6 years older than yours and I do like the 'classic plasic' kind of boats that exist that people are wiling to maintain. It helps keep so much FRP/GRP out of the waste stream. Most of all I hope you enjoy sailing her and she loves you back, for all you have done for her. All the best, Caleb D. (I miss Robert Gainer).

Great work Josh

And a nice log too. I wish I was better at documenting but I tend to concentrate all my efforts on the job at hand. I have hundreds of photos from the work I have done over the last 2 years but have yet to upload them to my photo site. Maybe this weekend.

Thanks folks!

Thanks for the kind words! It's certainly been a labor of love, I know the boat isn't worth anything to anybody else. It's my first boat and I get to enjoy learning both how to sail it and fix it. This forum has been an incredible resource. You folks are the best. Cheers!
