I'm sure that somebody has mentioned this before but I'll do it again.
I have used my small digital camera, with zoom capacity, to locate hard to find leaks and also to check for structural failures.
With the cameras flash and small size I have found that I can get it into very small spaces that I could never inspect before. We photo'ed areas when dry, then flooded the same area and took additional photos. This finally lead to finding a very hard to correct leak.
The zoom and flash feature, the cameras small size and quick download ability allow you instantly trouble shoot. When displayed on your computors large screen the answer to your problem usually jumps out at you.
Try it and you'll be hooked.
