Finding leak in deck

We have a persistent and hard to trace leak from the cockpit of our Hunter 38 into the aft cabin. Before removing all the interior trim to try to trace the leak, I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience of using a flexible inspection camera or boroscope to view spaces between their deck and hull liners? What works and what doesn't? I tried a cheap inspection camera from our local electronics store but the image quality was way too poor to be of any use in detecting a small leak.

That aft cabin leak has come up before on several models. Make sure to check the wiring conduit (plastic tube) that leads from the cockpit below. On my 356 it's under the removable floor behind the pedestal. That seems to be a pathway. Goop it up good if you haven't already.

Use some food coloring can help track where the water has been. It just wash off. For sure it is non-toxic ;-)
