Finding leacks and talcum powder

I have heard that it is possible to finf leaks ower the waterline (rain water) with talcum powder, but I dont know how it is done?

Can anyboady explain?

I have never tried talc. However, I have used dry-board erasable markers to locate leaks. I simply mark the area I suspect as leaking with the marker pen and the water will erase the mark to disclose the source. Of courss, you cannot use this on fabric, just fiberglass. Good luck.

just dust the area with talc- and look for where it has caked or run out. The white works well on the wall fabric and its easy to vacuum out.

On fiberglass you could also buy the blue plumb line powder in the plastic bottle at a hardware store and dust the area- sometimes the blue is tough to get out if its left a long while.
