Alden 38' Challenger yawl Rockport Harbor
We met two Challengers with owners 2 seasons ago on a two week cruise from Maine to Nantucket and back. One named Alliance(I think) out of Boston and another from RI. I don't recall how to get in touch with them now. I haven't seen either of them on the board yet and there was no board at that time. Any ideas how to reach other owners?

Anchored on our last night on the Cape in Hadleys Harbor.

You must have been in Hadley's off season, that place is usually so clogged that I head up to Quicks Hole.
You were around the corner from me. Next trip stop by and I'll let you help with the sanding.

Hi Whit, believe it or not, it was the end of August.

Our first time in Hadleys. On a two week sail to the Cape and back, we visitied, Cuttyhunk, Newport RI, Edgartown, Nantucket and a few other spots. This is our last night before heading on our return overnight accross the Gulf of Maine.

Hadleys was full of boats all the way in. We kept going and found this spot to anchor in the last hole nearly at the landing. Well out of the channel to port(coming in) we anchored in about 5 LW and spent a wonderful night.

Weather cooperated on that trip and sent us home under sail. We reached Boothbay in under 24 hours after leaving the CC Canal.

You sail in a classic cruising ground. We will return.

I have a list of owners from the Alden office I will try to email you. It is on a excell spreadsheet.
Lots of work on Black Pearl new engine in and the cockpit next week. The center board trunk has been reglasses and we are measuring for a new fuel tank.
Just started a new web site: http://www.sailingBlackPearl.com and am adding pictures as I go.
If any of you are ever in Biddeford drop by Rumerys boat yard and take a look

Here's another Challenger in my area.

I've been onboard and have met the owner but I can't recall his last name or e-mail address. His first name is Peter. He gave me a tour of his boat several years ago. Beautiful and alittle different as she was finished right here in Maine(Thomaston) Hopefully he will stumble onto the board at some point. He just repowered two years ago as well. He charters Aria, here is the sight.
