I just bought a 1994 29.5 two weeks ago. I need to replace some basic items like light bulbs, fuel cap gasket, and the plastic clips that attach the main sail to the mast. Is there a chain of boating supply stores that specialize in Hunter. I went to a West Marine here in Baltimore and they did not have any of the three parts that I needed. Thanks for the help.

Not Hunter equipment.

The parts you describe are not "Hunter" parts but manufactured by others. The light bulbs should be available anywhere, Auto parts store, Kmart, hardware, etc... Fuel cap gasket: look for the maker on the filler and go back the "boat" store and you should be able to order. The sail slugs are available from sailmakers or "boat" stores. All this said the people at West Marine should have been able to help you with all of these parts. I have'nt been to the store in Baltimore but the staff at the stores in Annapolis, Alexandria and Tracy's Creek have all been exceptionally helpful and mostly knowledgable. Bob

Contact Hunter

I would try calling Hunter directly. They've always been able to supply parts that I need for my '97. They seem to have a pretty substantial parts department and they ship right to your home. Rich
