Hi, Can a fin keel be altered into a wing keel on the catalina 30 model? If this can be done and if anyone has info on how to do this please respond. Thanks Russ k4gr

Check out Mars Metals...they offer a solution. Not sure of the cost, undoubtly expensive - unless you are attached to the boat, sell and buy a wing like sceptre sailor suggested.

If you really like your C30 and want to make the mod these folks can help you do it. Another caution, though. This will seriously diminish the resale value of your boat should you choose to ever sell it. Someone looking for a wing C30 will want the factory edition.
