Filling cockpit holes

Catalina 250 Frisco Bay Marina
Hello! I bought my first sailboat last week, a 2001 Catalina 250 Wing Keel. The surveyor found no major issues, and it’s in really good condition for its age. I’m working on my to-do list, which includes installing a depth finder, fixing the steaming light, replacing 2 cabin bulbs, tweaking the traveler, sewing a binnacle/wheel cover and winch covers, and a shortlist of minor things, including...

There are a couple of unused screw holes in the cockpit and 2 small holes/dings near the floor. I’m kinda tempted to put a little duct tape over them for now. How should I fill/cover them? I assume I shouldn’t leave them as is.
